Rosianna asked if I could take pictures of the big day so they could be used in the local papers.
Nearly 200 residents turned up at the Farnfield Farn, Privett, Hampshire. There were all the typical competitions, best hat, best cake. There was the biggest hog roast you’ve seen in your life with wine and beer flowing constantly. The day couldn’t have been more British if it tried! It was like being in Mid Summer Murders (but without the blood shed!)
I honestly thought the pictures would be of big rain drops with the odd muddy puddle, but luckily I was proven wrong! It really was a fantasic day. And to top it off Country Life Magazine have asked for 22 of my pictures so I’ll be looking forward to seeing them in print.
All in all a great success, so thanks Queenie!!!!
